The Catalan Federation of Underwater Activities (FECDAS) is a private, non-profit organisation, based on the association of clubs, athletes, coaches and referees, as well as sports and non-profit organisations.
SPORTS DISCIPLINES: FECDAS organises sports competitions and promotes Catalan athletes and Catalan national teams involved in underwater sports.
EDUCATION: FECDAS works to bring the sea and underwater activities into the classroom. The team encourages young people to learn about the sea as an ecosystem and to choose sports related to the underwater world. They offer numerous activities such as diving and snorkelling trips, beach clean-ups on Catalan beaches and coastlines or marine biology workshops.
Fundraising campaigns at all European trade fairs
We were delighted to be able to present ElasmOcean with a donation of 1,000 euros at boot 2024. We also raised funds at other European trades by giving away a practical DYNAMICNORD carabiner key ring to all visitors, and we also asked them to post a picture of themselves with it on social media. For every picture posted, we donated 5 Euros to ElasmOcean. In total, 1,300 Euros were raised for ElasmOcean at all European trade fairs.
ElasmOcean translates science
ElasmOcean combines knowledge and education: lectures and training courses for everyone who cares about our planet. From kindergarten to A-level courses, from private events to major trade fairs, we explain how the marine ecosystem works, and how and why we need to protect it.

SCIENCE & ENVIRONMENT: FECDAS works with Catalan and Spanish scientific institutions to promote and develop various projects for the conservation and restoration of the marine environment. The team also organises numerous beach and seabed clean-ups, combined with lectures and information on marine biology.

CRAM Foundation
The CRAM Foundation is a private, non-profit organisation dedicated to the protection of the marine environment and its inhabitants. Its main activities include the clinic and rescue of marine wildlife, the research and conservation of marine species and ecosystems, and the raising of awareness for the conservation of our seas and oceans.
CRAM has a cutting-edge rescue centre, and a team of technical and human specialists ready to help marine species. It also operates the Vell Marí, one of the few scientific sailing ships dedicated to the study of the marine environment.
