It is evident that human activity is causing a massive impact on nature and we must react positively. At DYNAMICNORD, we work every day to reduce our environmental impact in all manufacturing processes and throughout the life of the product.

Our R&D department works following the guidelines and premises of the most outstanding entities in terms of conservation and sustainability of the marine and terrestrial environments. We are constantly testing recycled materials and other non-polluting next-generation components to improve our products and our quality of life.

Neoprene

Limestone Neoprene

We use earth-mined limestone to replace petrochemicals in our neoprene. It comes from nature and has less environmental impact.

Eco Carbon Black

Carbon Black, one of the key ingredients of neoprene, can now be pyrolyzed from scrap rubber tires. This reduces energy consumption and cuts CO₂ emission by 200 gr per wetsuit.

PAHs Minimized Formulation

DYNAMICNORD neoprene rubber foam formulation eliminated near all of the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs) substances.

Solar Energy System

We work on making our production even greener. We focus on production facilities for finished goods which are equipped with solar panels on the roof tops to provide green energy.

Water saving dyeing machine

We are reducing water and energy consumption by 60% with our dyeing machines.

Plastic Components

We are recycling almost 100% of all materials from production; anything that is TPR, PP, PC, or PVC.

Fins

Fin foot pocket inserts are made with the waste of PP and TPR mixed together, and we also have hanging hooks made with PC waste.

Masks

We recycle all the plastic and glass parts of our masks.

Low energy Production

The use of full automation increases production capacity while lowering production time, which also means that the machinery needs to work less, resulting in lower electricity and water consumption.

Skins

Our skins are made with Polartec® technology, and Polartec® commits to 100% recycled materials and biodegradability across its entire product line.

Polartec Eco-Engineering™ has set a new standard for sustainable textiles – including the creation of the world’s first fully recycled and biodegradable fleece, other knits, insulation fills, and breathable waterproof fabrics.

Polartec® recycles 1.5 billion plastic bottles, adding up to its worldwide production.

We were born in a new global context and we are fully involved in the conservation and protection of our oceans and natural environment.

Product life cycle

Our defined aim is to make the product life cycle working with all its details. The life cycle of a product is the progression of a product from beginning to end, from its original idea or conception to its decline at the end of its useful life. At DYNAMICNORD we pay close attention to each individual process.
